Name: Kristal Sethi
Favourite Architect/Designer: I do not have a favourite architect or designer as I feel having a favourite limits the ability to have an open mind and to develop your own sense of style.
About Me: I am an outgoing, creative, driven individual who loves a challenge and new experiences. I particularly love the experience I have had working up north in Pefferlaw. Three years into the design program at Humber and I finally get the challenge I have been craving for! I look forward to continuing working on projects like this and eventually do work internationally by helping out impoverished communities I have personally visited around the world.

Favourite Architect/Designer: Steven Holl & Zaha Hadid
About Me: Third year Interior Design student at Humber collage where I’ve developed new skills in computer programs and strengthen my skills in time management, organization, communication skills and team work. Strengths that I discovered about myself during these past three years, is that I am a perfectionist. Small things that are not right bug me until I fix them. The weakness that I have discovered is that I work last minute. Even thought I may start early, I end up postponing the finalization to the last minute. Apparently, I work the best under pressure and produce my best design then.

Name: Julia Carpenter
About me: My name is Julia Carpenter and I am an Interior Design student who is currently studying at Humber College of Applied Technology. The Three house design project has been an incredible opportunity that has allowed me to gain hands on experience and witness firsthand the realities of on-site work within the design profession. I am surprised this project was not offered in past years as I have already learned so much and I continue to expand my knowledge due to this very educational experience.
Name:Catherine von Sallwurk
About me:I am an interior design student completing my third year at Humber College. My experience in this project has been nothing but positive. I have learnt not only the design and administrative aspects of a project but have also been able to see the physical construction of the building. Through this project I have a better understanding of the structural details that go into a design as well as gained hands on learning experience that is not come by in a regular studio class.
Name: Kellie Johnson
About me: My name is Kellie Johnson, I am a third year Interior Design student at Humber College. My group members and myself have been in charge of understanding, researching and designing the structural insulated panels used in the construction of the building. This experience has taught me lots about simple structures and residential design. This project not only gives me experience in the designing stages, but also what happens on site and construction.
Name: Betty Chor
About me:The "Threehouse" experience has been a great opportunity for me as a student to apply the knowledge that I have acquired in class into a real life situation. Craig's dedication to this project and his commitment to involve us in every step of the process is a reflection on Humber's obligation to provide applied learning.

When asked about design, Giancarlo commented, “Good design stems from innovation and creativity. The designer must have a thorough understanding of the people, the economy and the environment that surrounds the design.”
Name: Karen Richard
About me:I am a third year student originally from Falmouth Nova Scotia. Growing up in a small Maritime town allowed me to develop a good sense of humour and an easy going, laid-back attitude. This makes me good for collaborative team projects. This project is great because we have to learn to work as a very large group, as well as work with other disciplines. I also love hands-on work, so this project is great for me.

Name: Natalie Kuzminer
About me: I am a 3rd year Interior Design student at Humber. I am originally from Russia and have also lived in Israel until I moved here. I love to travel and see the world. My interests have changed and evolved a countless amount of times but interior design stuck. Although school can get tedious, projects like the Three House design gets me through it and motivated all over again. This has been a wonderful experience and I wouldn’t trade it for any in-class studio project. Through the time up in Pefferlaw I have gotten the hands on experience I have been looking for. As well I got to really understand the construction process and real timelines and problems you face when you are designing a building. And of course being up in the country is a lot more inspiring than sitting in a dark cold classroom. Wonderful experience, I definitely recommend!
